MARQUIS: Do you appreciate living in today‘s world, in which sexuality no longer need to be
talked about only secretly, or preferably not at all?
DARK DANCING LADY: Absolutely, yes! I couldn‘t imagine an everyday life without lewd
jokes – I can‘t hold my beak for that. But joking aside: I‘m more than glad that sexuality is
(mostly) no longer a taboo topic these days. This makes life easier in many ways, including
when looking for a partner.
Lacel: Yes, I think it‘s great too. It‘s also a great way of self-expression, and I think it‘s
also very important for any personal development.
You get to know yourself better when you can talk openly about sex and also allow your
feelings.
MQ: Do you think it‘s time for women in particular to have the right to talk openly about
their sexuality as if sexuality were the most natural thing in the world?
DL: Everyone has the right to talk openly about their own sexuality. To which or whether this
person assigns a gender should not play a role.
LC: Absolutely. I think women should be allowed to talk openly about sexuality, just like men,
without being judged. Sexuality is part of life and is something quite natural. What I appreciate
about this day and age is that no one is judged or has to be ashamed because they talk openly
about their preferences or fetishes – whether man or woman, it doesn‘t matter.
MQ: To what extent do you perceive sexuality as a journey away from everyday life, into a
completely different world?
DL: Particularly positive or intense sexual experiences have the potential to make you
forget everything around you. I always like to say that humans are an eye animal, because
everyday life is very much determined by visual stimuli. Sexuality consists….
