Weird, fascinating – in your face! That‘s what comes to mind when I look at pictures of model Lilly Pietrie. She wears outfits from AMF Korsets like other people wear street- wear – natural and relaxed, and that activates the effect immensely. On her, couture looks suitable for everyday use — whether streetwear ready for the catwalk. She also works with photographers who are not typical of the scene, and perhaps that’s the secret behind her pictures. We absolutely had to ask the exciting artist for an interview!

LILLY PIETRIE

MARQUIS: Dear Lilly, what does it mean to you to be photographed

Lilly Pietrie: Empowerment, art and friendship. I think that’s it. Photography is a big outlet for my artistic vein. Somewhere I have to let it all out. It also offers me the opportunity to express myself and to discover new things about myself again and again. Over time, many close bonds have also developed. To lose myself in the creative process together with these people is a great happiness for me!

MQ: We were able to learn from friends that you also wear a lot of latex. When did you first come into contact with it?

LP: The first time I felt latex on my skin was in the summer of 2021. I can still remember it very well. Heks, a photographer from Berlin, asked me if I could imagine wearing latex for a joint shooting project, and this idea was new and exciting for me at the same time.

MQ: That’s a very typical way to discover latex.

LP: A little later I had a fitting in Chronomatic Luxury Latex, right in the heart of Berlin. I have to smile when I think about how excited I was to enter her shop. You already have a certain idea when it comes to latex and fetish. This is shaped by hearsay and the media…
